2023年，中国持续推动碳强度下降工作，非化石能源消费占能源消费比重达到了17.9%，森林蓄积量达到了194.93亿立方米，比2005年增加了65亿立方米，已实现2030年目标。截至2024年7月底，风电、太阳能发电总装机容量达到了12.06亿千瓦，是2020年底的2.25倍，提前6年多实现了2030年装机容量目标，为应对气候变化作出了重要贡献。
