10月1日，澎湃新闻（www.thepaper.cn）从自然资源部获悉，超强台风“山陀儿”正位于我国南海东北部海面，海浪实况显示，受其影响，截至14时，距离台风中心较近的南海东北部浮标，今天持续测得6米以上的狂浪到狂涛，上午10点30分观测到最大有效波高9.8米的狂涛；同时，台湾海峡出现了4到6米的巨浪到狂浪，福建中南部沿海出现了2.8到3.4米大浪。
