11月18日，澎湃新闻记者从上海市宝山区人民检察院(以下简称宝山区检察院)获悉，此前该院办理了这样一起诈骗案。宝山区检察院表示，依法惩治涉军犯罪、强化退役军人合法权益保障是检察机关深化综合履职、捍卫军人权益职责所在，该院坚持惩治犯罪和追赃挽损并行，并对被害退役军人展开司法救助，切实维护退役军人的合法权益。

在知悉上述情况后，检察官立即开展了调查核实工作，依据《关于加强退役军人司法救助工作的意见》，认为刘先生符合司法救助条件，依法给予其一次性司法救助金，缓解了退役军人日常生活的燃眉之急，为退役军人提供了一定的生活保障。刘先生感谢检察官帮其挽回经济损失，并在办案中给予他理解和关心，让他感受到司法的公平正义和温度。
